F.A.Q.

How long have you been tattooing for?

I'm still training, so body art is still a new skill for me. However, the vast knowledge and experience I have with skincare and permanent makeup (just another type of tattoo) has allowed me to enter this magical world, combined with the creativity and love for art that always distinguished me.

How much does it cost?

Every tattoo is different and the price will depend on the size and complexity of the artwork. However, most "tiny-tattoos" will fit into the studio minimum charge of £60.00. Being still in training, I'm offering most pieces, up to palm-size at the minimum rate.

Does getting a fine line tattoo hurt?
Everyone experiences pain differently, but fine line tattoos are generally less painful than traditional styles due to the smaller size and lighter technique. Most clients describe the sensation as mild to moderate discomfort. For more sensitive areas, a topical numbing cream can be applied.

How long does the tattoo take?
That depends on the size, placement, and complexity of your design. Most fine line tattoos take between 30 minutes to 2 hours. During your consultation, we’ll give you an estimated time based on your chosen artwork.

Will it fade over time?
Fine line tattoos tend to age more gracefully than heavier styles, but as with any tattoo, some fading may occur over time, especially in areas exposed to the sun or with frequent friction. Proper aftercare and SPF protection will help preserve the crispness of your design.

Can I get a tattoo over scars or stretch marks?
In many cases, yes. However, it depends on the type, age, and condition of the skin. We’ll assess your area during a consultation and advise you on the best options.

What if I change my mind about the design?
That’s why every tattoo booking starts with a thorough consultation. We’ll work closely with you to refine your idea and make sure it’s something you truly love. You’ll approve the final design before we begin.

Can fine line tattoos be removed?
While all tattoos are considered permanent, fine line tattoos may respond better to laser removal due to their minimal ink.

We don’t offer tattoo removal at Aesthetica (yet!), but we can advise you on reputable providers if needed.

Is there anything I should do before my appointment?
Yes: arrive well-rested, hydrated, and avoid alcohol or blood thinners like ibuprofen 24 hours before your session. Please eat beforehand and wear loose, comfortable clothing that gives us easy access to the tattoo area.

How should I care for my tattoo after the session?
We’ll provide you with detailed aftercare instructions, but the basics include: keeping the area clean and moisturised, avoiding direct sunlight, swimming, or strenuous activity for a few days, and refraining from picking or scratching during the healing process.
